Our water filter is running extremely slow. Do we need to replace the filter?The filter should be replaced ever 6 months for a household of 4 people (1 yr. for 2 personl HH). However, during that time, you may see a considerable decrease in water flow-rate because the ceramic filter candle is becoming clogged. When this happens, you can clean the filter to restore the flow-rate to its' typical 1/2 gal. per minute.
